Rescue Me ID: 16-07-29-00525Loki (male)

Great Dane Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi there. My name is Loki. I'm about 6 months old and I weigh about 50 lbs ( I'm gonna be a big boy). I was surrendered to the pound after they received a call about me. They had me chained up outside with no shelter at all. They said I wasn't their dog and they didn't want me there. I am a very sweet and loving baby. I am super duper friendly and loving with people. I get along great with other dogs and according to the people who had me, I also like cats. I will need some training and guidance, but for the most part, I am a awesome baby. If you're looking for a great pup to add to your family, please consider adopting me. Our ... (Read More)adoption fee is $120.00. The adoption fee must be paid in CASH. We are unable to accept personal checks or credit/debit cards for adoption fees. ALL dogs/puppies adopted from our shelter will receive their parvo distemper vaccine, bordetella vaccine, rabies vaccine (if aged at 12 weeks or older), be dewormed with a 3 day course of panacur dewormer, be microchipped, receive their current Ohio dog license and will be spayed or neutered. ALL DOGS/PUPPIES WILL BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED unless a health issue prohibits the surgery from being performed. Not all dogs posted for adoption are spayed/ neutered yet. If you're driving a long distance to adopt, please verify that the vetting process has been completed and dog you're interested in adopting is still available for adoption. The above mentioned vetting is all included in your adoption fee. The adoption fee and what is included in the adoption fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Adoptions MUST be done at the pound and in person as there is paperwork to fill out and an adoption contract that must be signed by the adopter. This means you must be willing to travel to our shelter to adopt. IF the dog you're interested in adopting has medical conditions or injuries which require medical treatment, we ask that you help with the medical bills so we can continue to help the dogs coming in who need additional vet care. We are a county run shelter, therefore we cannot control our intake or the health or behavior of the dogs that come in to our shelter. Although we try our hardest to place all of our adoptable dogs, there are certain circumstances in which any dog in our care could be euthanized at any time and without further notice (IE: sudden untreatable medical condition or injury, temperament or behavioral problems which may not be apparent when the dog first arrives, lack or space, etc.), therefore all dogs at our shelter should be considered urgent. The adoption of a more highly adoptable dog will mean more time for the less adoptable dog in the kennel next to him! Shelter hours are: Monday-Friday: 8 am- 4 pm Saturday: 9 am- 12 pm. The pound is CLOSED to the public on Sunday. There is nobody in the office on Saturday and Sunday, so therefore we are unable to answer or return phone calls over the weekend. Can't adopt a dog? We would love to have more volunteers who are able to spend time with our dogs! The dogs LOVE going for walks and the socialization and exercise helps make the dogs more adoptable.     Hi there. My name is Gunner. I'm around 1 1/2 years old and I weigh 67 lbs. I was surrendered to the pound because my owner had to have back surgery and he just couldn't handle me. I am a total love bug! I LOVE people! I am always happy to see you. I like giving kisses and getting butt scratches. The only time I have ever given anyone any trouble at all is when I went to the vet to get my rabies vaccine boosted. Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi there. My name is Daisy. I'm 3 years old and I weigh about 24 lbs. I was taken in by the pound after they'd received a call about some abandoned dogs. Bull Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi there. My name is Snowflake. I'm 4 years old and I weigh about 50 lbs. I was taken in by the pound after they'd received a call about some abandoned dogs. When the pound went out on the complaint, it was extremely hot. I was the only dog living inside the house, but it didn't have the a/c running so it was still very hot inside. The pound got a hold of our old owner to have him come because it was bad. Two of my friends outside were suffering from heat exhaustion and the rest of were getting to that point too. My owner ended up signing us all over to the pound and admitted that he had moved out and was coming back once a day to feed and ... (Read More)water us. I am a very sweet and loving dog. I can be standoffish and shy at first with strangers, but once I know everyone, I am a wonderful girl. I am also very protective of my house. I get along well with most of the other dogs I have been around since I have been here at the pound but I should meet and new potential canine family members prior to adoption. I lived with A LOT of cats and kittens and I didn't bother them. I have been a house dog and my previous owners said that I am housebroken. If you're looking for a great dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me. Our adoption fee is $120.00. Pit Bull Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi there. My name is Star. I'm 2 years old and I weigh 49.5 lbs. I was taken in by the pound after they'd received a call about some abandoned dogs. When the pound went out on the complaint, it was extremely hot. None of us dogs had any water and I was suffering from heat exhaustion and had to be carried to the van. Once all of us dogs were loaded, the girl from the pound drove us and got a bag of ice and put some in our crates. I was still pretty hot when I got here to the pound, but after a little while I cooled off and now I'm just fine. Aside from missing hair due to a flea allergy (we were all polluted with fleas) I appear to be in ... (Read More)good shape! I am a very sweet, loving and happy girl. You'd never know that I have lived a life of neglect. I LOVE people and I get along well with all of the other dogs that I have been around here. I used to live my life on a chain, but all of that has changed for me now and I could't be happier... or maybe I could in my very own family! I have a lot of energy, so I would benefit from a family that can give me plenty of exercise. I will likely need some training and guidance as I transition to life as a house dog. If you're looking for a great dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me. Our adoption fee is $120.00. Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi there. My name is Willie. I'm around 10 years old and I weigh about 35 lbs. I was picked up by the pound after the pound received a complaint that my owner had passed away and that there was nobody caring for me. When the pound arrived, it was extremely hot, I had no shade or water so I was taken immediately. My owner's daughter did call and said she was going to come and get me, but she didn't come, so I have been neutered, vetted and I am looking for a family to love me. I really need a quiet home with a caring, understanding family. I have spent my entire life on a chain with no real socialization, so I am shy around people. I ... (Read More)kind of run and hide when I get scared, but I warm up and come around once I know you and I know you're okay. I get along well with the other dogs that I have been around since I have been here at the pound too. I will need work on housebreaking since I have been an outside dog. Animal ID: 264-16Akyah (female)

Pit Bull Mix    Age: Young Adult

Well hello there! My name is Akyah and I'm what you might call a 'pocket pit' because I'm just so tiny, I could fit in your pocket! Not really, but I am much smaller than some other members of my breed! I'm still a young girl so being able to play and work off some energy is important to me! I love to go for walks, but sometimes forget that you aren't as excited as I am to be outside....what I mean to say is, I might pull a little bit, so it's probably a good thing I am so small! My front feet are kind of 'pigeon toed' but that doesn't bother me at all - I think it just gives me more character! So far I have done really well with the ... (Read More)children that have come to visit me at the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Centerb but I have not been tested with other dogs or cats yet. If you're looking for a sweet, goofy, spunky girl, look no further!!! Available for adoption at: Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center 1500 Newark Rd., Zanesville, Ohio 43701 740-453-0273 Please call ahead if you plan to visit. Open M-F 11-5 and Saturday 11-1. If you adopt a dog that has not yet been spayed/neutered, we will set up an appointment for the dog to be spayed/neutered before it can leave the facility.) (Less)

Hello, the people at the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center call me Regis but that's not my real name, and unfortunately I can't tell them what it really is :( I used to belong to someone and every time I go for a walk outside, I cry and look frantic because I can't find my owners. I keep searching the vehicles in the parking lot but they don't belong to my people; I search the woods thinking maybe my owners are hiding there, but I can't find them. The longer I'm here, the more I am learning to not be so scared and to trust the new people who are taking care of me now. I do my best to keep my kennel clean and I'm learning to wag ... Pit Bull Mix

Compatibility: Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant

Lilly is a puppy. Was told that she was about 8 weeks old about 6 weeks ago when my daughter purchased her from someone on Craigslist. Was told she was house trained. She is getting better. She has only had a few accidents in the house. She does not get along with our 3 year old chihuahua. She plays way to rough and we are afraid she will hurt him not knowing her strength. We were supposed to be a temporary home until my daughter's father could take her. Now he can't take her and I just am not able to keep her. I do not want to take her to the humane society, but I may not have any other options. We really need to have her re-homed as soon ... (Read More)as possible. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-28-00354Nicely (female)

Whippet Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi there. My name is Nicely. I'm about 1 year old and I weigh about 35 lbs. I was found as a stray in Rogers area and I was brought in to the pound. I am a very sweet and loving little girl. I LOVE people and I get along well with other dogs. If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your fmaily, please consider adopting me. Our adoption fee is $120.00. The adoption fee must be paid in CASH. We are unable to accept personal checks or credit/debit cards for adoption fees. ALL dogs/puppies adopted from our shelter will receive their parvo distemper vaccine, bordetella vaccine, rabies vaccine (if aged at 12 weeks or older), be dewormed ... (Read More)with a 3 day course of panacur dewormer, be microchipped, receive their current Ohio dog license and will be spayed or neutered. Animal ID: PPR16-41Freckles (male)

Cavalier Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Very High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello my name is Freckles. I am a one year old terrier mix. Some say I might be mixed with a type of Spaniel. I weigh 12 lbs and I'm white with lots of black spots. I arrived at PPR after being transported to Ohio from a shelter in Kentucky. I came along with two other dogs, Coco and Pokey, from the same home/owner after she passed away and no one was able to take us. We were very scared at the shelter. PPR is thinking that I am most likely the Daddy to Pokey's puppies. Pokey had 4 precious puppies on July 10th. %BD%A0 Since my arrival, I have received all my shots, been heartworm and fecal tested (results ... (Read More)negative), neutered, and micro-chipped. I'm ready now to start looking for my forever home. %BD%A0 My ideal home would be a very active family with no small children (older ones would be okay). I am a high energy type of dog. Although I love to cuddle up in the recliner with my foster dad for a nap, I need lots of exercise to burn off this puppy and terrier energy. I would not be best suited for toddler or babies because I'm still trying to learn not to jump and could knock them over and scare them. A privacy fence would work best for me as I have climbed over a 4 ft fence%BD'%BD| or otherwise I would need to be walked on a leash. I would not be a good dog for an electric fence for my safety as I'd run through it . %BD%A0 I would make a wonderful companion for the right home. I need a good pack leader. I can see us taking brisk long walks and then coming back home and cuddling up to watch your favorite TV shows. %BD%A0 I am accustomed to a crate and my foster mom highly recommends me being kept in a crate when you are not home because of my puppiness - I like to get into trouble sometimes. What can I say%BD'%BD| I'm an explorer! I get along with the other dogs here (there are lots of them). I might be best as a 2nd dog. My foster mom tells me that once we find a home that is interested in me, we'll go visit them and their pets to see how we get along. I can't wait for that! My new owner might want to take me to training classes as a way to bond and learn about each other. I might make a good agility dog too. %BD%A0 I continue to work on my potty-training (I am crate trained and so far around 85% house trained). I like to ride in the car and play with the other dogs out in the yard. Please consider giving me a 2nd chance for a wonderful life - that is with you! %BD%A0 If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact my foster home at the link below. If you have any questions please contact my foster mom at the link found at http://puppypalsrescue.com/Dogs_Freckles1641.html .%BD%A0 Fill out an application if you are interested in adopting me - you can find those at http://puppypalsrescue.com/Applications.html %BD%A0(Email my foster home and let them know you applied so they can be sure the application is received! ) I just can't wait to find a forever home!%BD%A0 Thanks!!! Public hours are Monday through Saturday from 10am-3pm, and Sunday 12-2pm. The CITY DOGS mission is to increase adoptions from the City Kennel by changing the image of the pit bulls who make up the majority of the kennel population, by preparing all adoptable dogs in the kennel for lives in loving homes and by creating as many opportunities as possible for the public to meet and get to know our dogs for the terrific pets they are meant to be. Our Adoption Process... Here's a little about how things work: All of the CITY DOGS posted for adoption are available for direct adoption from the kennel, unless noted otherwise. A handful of dogs are only available for rescue pull, which can be for a variety of reasons. You can either stop in during our open hours to meet a dog, or set up a meet and greet with your dog, which allows us to get the dog out of his/her cage for some exercise before you arrive. To set up a meet and greet, please email us at citydogs@city.cleveland.oh.us. About Our Dogs: All available dogs have been assessed. This assessment is a snapshot of who the dog is at that given time. Our dogs are strays and we cannot make any guarantees with regard to behavior, temperament or health of any City Dog. We do not know what kind of home environment they were living in (i.e. with kids, other dogs or other cats), nor do we know if they are house trained. Everything we know about them is based on volunteer and staff observations. It is very hard to tell with certainty whether or not a dog will be good with kids, cats or another dog. If you have kids in the home or another dog, we do require that they be present for a meet and greet with the dog you are considering for adoption. Health/Vaccinations: Dogs that are adopted directly from the kennel need to go to your personal vet within a week or so of leaving the kennel. They do have their DHPP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations, are dewormed once and have a microchip. In addition, unfortunately many of the dogs do get kennel cough. This is not something that is contagious to people at all, but dogs that do have it will need to be on an antibiotic (Less)

Animal ID: VioletViolet (female)

Dachshund Mix    Age: Adult

Health: Spayed

Hi, I'm Violet! Early on a Saturday morning my foster mommy received a call that a dog had been dumped at the park. What she found was me: terrified, huddled in the road, with a double ear infection, nails so long that I could not walk, a horrible skin infection & sores all over. When my foster mommy tried to pet me it hurt. One of my ears was horribly swollen with a huge hematoma. All of these things were issues that happened slowly over time. Whoever owned me before let me get sicker & sicker & then just dumped me at a park. Luckily my foster mommy loves all dogs, not just pit bulls. She says she has no idea what breed I am but she loves ... (Read More)me anyway. I am a small girl: I weigh about 35 lbs. I am about 7 years old. Now that I'm done with all my medicine I feel so much better. I love to run & play in the yard. I also love to nap on the couch. I am house & crate trained. I would be perfect for someone who wants a small dog to snuggle with. I am good on a leash but I don't need a ton of exercise. I will dance for you if you give me a treat! I am very sweet & snuggly! Please apply to adopt me today! You won't be sorry. I am one of those dogs who is so grateful that I was rescued. I will love you with my whole heart!     this is my furry little best friend Jeffy. He is a great and lovable dog that has brought me nothing but happiness in the time I've had him. He is generally not good with other dogs and is aggressive around his food. He has had incidents with my parents dog and my roommates puppy, but usually only around or over his food. He's only had one incident with humans and he bit my young daughter who got too close to his food, which is why I have to get rid of him. I'm running out of time and options on what to do with him and just want to make sure my little fur baby finds a good home with someone who will care for him and love him as much as I do.

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-24-00188Bella (female)

Saint Bernard Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi there. My name is Bella. I'm around 2.5 years old and I weigh about 65 lbs. I'm too thin and should weigh around 80 lbs. I was found as a stray in the East Liverpool area and I was brought in to the pound. I did have a microchip. The pound looked up my chip and%A0and located my previous owner. She said that her ex husband took me with him and she had no contact information for him. With me being so thin and overall not being well care for, it was unknown if he still owned me or if he had given me away. He never called looking for me so I was spayed and put up for adoption. I am a very sweet girl. I am good with people and I get along ... (Read More)well with the other dogs that I have been around here at the pound. I appear to be housebroken and I am a good girl when I am inside. If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me. Our adoption fee is $120.00. The adoption fee must be paid in CASH. We are unable to accept personal checks or credit/debit cards for adoption fees. Rosie is a 4 1/2 year old Australian Cattle dog mix. We took her from a very bad situation 4years ago when she was about 12 weeks old. When we got her she was very sick; she was emaciated, had worms, and kennel cough. We got get through that and got her fixed and vaccinated, and over the last 4 years she has been a part of our family. However, due to the situation she was in she has some trust issues and is very timid, especially with young children. We have tried to work with her to overcome her fears and shyness. We have a 2 1/2 year old son, normally, she is pretty good with him (this took a lot of work to make this happen); however a ... (Read More)couple of weeks ago she bit him. It is not all her fault, he grabbed her leg trying to get her to do 'paw.' I have tried to keep them pretty well separated the last couple of weeks, but I can't watch them 24/7, and I'm super nervous she will bite him again. I also don't want her to spend more time in her crate than is necessary. Rosie will do wrk with a family without children or with oldest children who understand and will not try to push her limits. We love her, and my son adores her, but I just can't take the chance that she bites him again. I need to rehome her as soon as possible. (Less)

Buster is a 2 year old wheaten terrier/airedale mix. My wife and I adopted him in May 2016 from Geauga County Dog Warden in Chardon, Ohio. We had two great months with him, but unfortunately, he bit two of my family members, both of whom were women. He is currently being boarded at Heights Animal Hospital in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. If we can't find a new home for him, he will unfortunately be euthanized due to his bite history, and no local shelters are willing to accept him. We do not know all of his history, but we suspect he may have been abused by a woman in the past. For this reason, he would best do with a single male owner, or ... I personally had no issues with him, which is why I think he would do great with a man. I'm doing everything in my power to find him a new home and want euthanasia to be the very last resort. (Less)

Animal ID: 27116Bubba (male)

Lab Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello. My name is Bubba. I'm around 1 year old and I weigh about 70 lbs. I somehow made my way into a 'rescue' who had adopted me out to someone. The lady who adopted me really liked me, but I had seperation anxiety. Her dad took me in when it didn't work out with her. He really tried his best. He said I was an absolutely amazing dog when he was home, but he wasn't home all the time and I would bust out of the crates. Granted, they are not heavy duty crates, but either way, I kept getting out and it was just too much for everyone. Said 'rescue' that I came from wouldn't take me back, so he surrendered me here to the pound where I can ... (Read More)hopefully find an understanding, patient family with time to spend exercising and training me. I really am a wonderful dog. I am shy at first with new people, especially here in the pound environment, but I come around within a few minutes. I love going for walks and running around to play. I get along well with other dogs, though I can come on a little too strong and I can be a bit too much for other dogs, especially if they don't know me yet. I really, really love playing with other dogs. I need a sturdy playmate with a lot of energy to match my own. I am housebroken, but when I busted out of my crate I would have accidents in the house. Basically, I need my new folks to have a heavy duty crate to keep me in when they go away to keep both me, and their belongings safe while they're away. Once I learn that I cannot bust out of my cage, I stop trying. I don't try to get out of my kennel here at thr pound anymore. Once I learned that it wouldn't budge, I gave up and now I am just fine with the confinement. I am truly a very nice dog, I just lack training and confidence. If you think you might be a good match for me, please consider adding me to your family. Our adoption fee is $120.00. The adoption fee must be paid in CASH. We are unable to accept personal checks or credit/debit cards for adoption fees. Hello! My name is Mocha. I'm around 3 years old and I weigh about 65 lbs (I'm quite hefty for my size). I was found as a stray in the Rogers area by some Sheriff's deputies. I was at the intersection of 2 very busy roads. I was lost and limping pretty badly on one of my front legs. They called the pound and one of the girls met them and picked me up. I was seen by a vet and had x-rays done. There wasn't anything broken. I also had a heartworm/ lyme test done and it was negative. The vet thinks that all of my pain is from a muscle in my shoulder, possibly torn or sprained. I am a VERY sweet girl. I love everyone I meet. I am wonderful with ... (Read More)both adults and children. I am very fun and playful like a young dog should be, but I am also pretty well mannered and obedient for the most part. I get along well with other dogs of all sizes as long as they're friendly towards me. I was definitely a house dog in my previous life. I never mess in my kennel or in the office, which is a good indicator that I am likely housebroken. I LOVE to curl up next to you on the couch and give you kisses too.     Precious as her foster home named her but that was the perfect word to describe her was found wondering down the middle of a busy street. She was in really bad shape, we actually thought that maybe she had been hit by a car. We rushed her to the emergency vet where it was discovered she was totally blind and had lived a hard life. She wasn't hit by a car, just wasn't taken care of very well causing her to have hair loss and really bad teeth. She had a complete dental which required 14 teeth to be removed. Animal ID: 237-16Huck (male)

Beagle Mix    Age: Young Adult

How-dy! The name's Huck and I'm a hound dog through and through! I'm more of what you might call middle-aged so I'm out of the energetic puppy phase of my life. Now, don't be confused...if I am outside, my nose is to the ground and I am hunting for the trail of some varmit! But that's just the hound in me. I'm super friendly and pretty mellow in general - you know, easy to walk, easy in and out of my kennel. What I'd love is some sunshine to lay in during the day, a warm bed at night, and a yard or field to explore with my owner. How does that sound to you?     Hey! I'm Rugby and I'm a newbie at the Muskingum County Dog Warden & Adoption Center. I am currently pretty miserable because no one has cared for me for quite awhile. I am underweight, fighting skin issues, suffering from intestinal parasites, and my feet are swollen and sore. The great volunteers here are taking care of me! Rugby was the best boy at the vet and during his bath yesterday. He has a bad case of allergies and his toenails had been cut too short before coming to us at the MCDW&AC. He got a steroid shot to help his allergies, got heart worm tested and is negative and now on prevention. He completed his spa day with a medicated ... Rescue Me ID: 16-07-17-00194Josie (female)

Boxer Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Male Dogs Only, Good with Kids and Adults
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hello! My name is Josie. I'm around 3 years old and I weigh about 60 lbs. I was found as a stray in Wellsville and I was picked up by the pound. I spent some time here at the pound, then I was adopted. The family had kids and they totally loved me, and I loved them. They also had a rabbit and a cat, neither of which I had interest in becoming friends with. Needless to say, the other pets were in the household first, so I was returned to the pound. They said I was a wonderful girl the whole time the had me except the above mentioned issue. They said I was wonderful with the kids, great in the house and that I am housebroken... they were ... (Read More)really sad that they had to bring me back, but they couldn't risk me injuring (or worse) the rabbit and cat. I am a wonderful girl here at the pound too. I am clean in my kennel. I am very friendly and social with people who come in. I am good on a leash after the first couple of minutes. The list goes on and on. I get along well with MALE dogs around my own size. I don't really like female dogs or small dogs of either sex. I am VERY playful with large male dogs and the pound hasn'thad any issues with me with bigger sized males. I love going up to the play yard and running around with my 'boyfriends'. Prety much my only 'problem' here is that I have absolutely no trouble climbing a 6' fence and I can do it in a matter of seconds, so I have to be supervised at all times when I am outside playing. The pound suggests that even if my new family has a fence, I should still be supervised when I am outside to potty or that I should have strong tie out or be walked when I am out to potty. If you're looking for a nice dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me. Our adoption fee is $120.00. The adoption fee must be paid in CASH. We are unable to accept personal checks or credit/debit cards for adoption fees. We had him in our home which consists of 3 other male dogs, horses and grandchildren on occasion. Ziggy got along with our 7 yr old Labradoodle but attacked our older lab which resulted in vet visits.     Hello! My name is King! I'm approximately 3 year old and I weigh about 60 lbs. I was surrendered to the pound by my owners and I am now looking for a loving family. In my previous life, I lived as an outside dog, confined to life on a chain. As a result I have no real training to speak of and I was quite undersocialized when I arrived. I have been here for a short while now. I am doing wonderful and adjusting to a life off of the chain fabulously! I have been very friendly towards all of the people I have met! I'm just all kisses and tail wags! I am high energy and will require a patient family that has time to train me. I get along well ... (Read More)with most dogs and I'm a pretty playful boy. Sometimes I can go in a little too overbearing and that can scare the other dogs sometimes, but I haven't been aggressive towards other dogs. I have a big scar on my head from some old, unknown injury. It doesn't seem to bother me at all and I'm not headshy. There is really no telling what it is from. I also have dry skin and some mossing hair on my hind end, which is suspected to be from the fleas I had when I arrived here. Although I was never a house dog, I am a very clean boy! I do not have accidents in my kennel and I wait until I get outside to go potty. If you're looking for a great dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me. Our adoption fee is $120.00. Animal ID: 91Olive (female)

Pit Bull Mix    Age: Young Adult

Olive is a sweet shy girl. She is working on coming out of her shell. She appears to like other dogs. Very sweet. 42 lbs. 2 years old If you have questions or would like to meet the dog featured on this page, please call (216) 664-3476 to speak to an adoption representative at CITY DOGS Cleveland. Or email citydogs@city.cleveland.oh.us About Our Shelter... CITY DOGS Cleveland is a program of Cleveland Animal Care & Control (CACC), located at 2690 W. 7th St. Cleveland, OH 44113. Public hours are Monday through Saturday from 10am-3pm, and Sunday 12-2pm. The CITY DOGS mission is to increase adoptions from the City Kennel by changing the image ... (Read More)of the pit bulls who make up the majority of the kennel population, by preparing all adoptable dogs in the kennel for lives in loving homes and by creating as many opportunities as possible for the public to meet and get to know our dogs for the terrific pets they are meant to be.

Public hours are Monday through Saturday from ... (Read More)10am-3pm, and Sunday 12-2pm.
